Requesting Birthday Cards

Hi Everyone,

I know your probably thinking what in the world happened to that girl. Well life got busy and I had to leave blogging for awhile. My last post was about my 2 turning 3 yr old, and now she's about to be 4.

I really haven't done any paper crafting in a long time, but I saw a story on my local new channel about a little 6 yr old named Cadence. Cadence and her family were in a horrible car accident about 2 wks ago. Her entire immediate family was killed, Her dad, mom and 2 yr old baby sister. Cadence survived that crash. She will be 7 on July 23 and my local new channel was trying to get people to send her a birthday card. I saw this story and it has given me a special reason to pull out some paper and make this sweet little girl a card.

So now you know why I'm posting today. If you can please send this little girl a birthday card to help make this a very special birthday.
Hello Everyone,

I wanted to share a few more pics of the decor I made for my daughter's party. I searched pintrest, etsy, google and youtube looking for some ideas. Taniya wanted a Mickey party, and I wanted her to have a Minnie party. So... I combined them.

Hello,

It's been over a month since my last post. I've been crafty, just forgot to take a pic or too lazy to upload and blog. I'm full of energy today because it's my baby girl's birthday! She turns 3 today. I wanted to share the banner I made for the party. We will be celebrating today and tomorrow. She is so excited. I used the Mickey Font cart for the ears and letters and the red circle is from Birthday Bash. I strung it all together with some white tulle. I'll be sure to take some pics of the party and share them as well.

Have a happy Friday~
TyTynNiyasmomhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13932360330679752785noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4644518921941070472.post-71047320819043176982012-06-11T11:33:00.001-05:002012-06-11T11:33:51.060-05:00Webster's Pages Warehouse Sale!

Hi,

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Sunday evening. I got some time to myself this afternoon and decided to make a card for FCCB . This week's challenge is" Don't bug me". Make a project using some sort of bug. It took me a while to decide which bug to use, but I ended up using this butterfly from Straight From the Nest. I used a branch from Create a Critter to post him on. My patterned papers are from a stack from Three Birds. The cardstock is recollections and the sentiment is from My Craft Spot. I used some bling from the dollar bin at Micheals and my white gel pen to help bring out the body of the butterfly.
Hi,

Thanks so much for stopping by today. My SIL renewed her vows last Saturday and I was at the rehearsal on Friday evening and realized that I still hadn't made her a card. I got up early Saturday morning, (wedding day), and thought of this card I saw on youtube. Her subscriber name is KaleesStampin. The colors are actually the colors of the wedding and thought it would be perfect.

I used different materials on mine, but the concept is still the same.

I used the Art Philosophy Cart for the roses. LOVE this cart! I used the swirls cuttlebug embossing folder. The script patterned paper is by K and Company as are the pearls that center the roses. I used the Martha Stewart branch punch for the leaves and the twine is by MS as well. The sentiment and tag are by Emma @ creativetimeforme. It's really hard to see, but I also lightly sprayed the roses and card with glimmer mist by Tattered Angels in marshmallow to give the card a little bling.

Hello,

I hope everyone is having a terrific Thursday. I only have one more day until the kiddos are out of school and then we will officially begin summer vacation. I want to share some vinyl projects I made for friends and family to give as gifts.

The brushes were made for my niece to give to 3 of her friends that will be graduating this Saturday. I used the Alphalicious cart for the font.

The glasses are for a co-worker to give as a gift to someone. I used Birthday Bash font for the beer mug , and Storybook for the other glass. I hope the recipients enjoy.

Hello Everyone,

Two posts in one week!! I'm on a roll LOL. Thanks so much for stopping by today. I want to share a card I made for a co-worker's daughter that will be graduating from high school next week. I was totally inspired to make this after seeing the BEAUTIFUL tags that Emma @creativetimeforme.com created She released another set of stamps and dies this morning, so be sure to stop by her blog and check it out. The new release is available for preorders right now.

I was looking through the Art Philosophy cricut cartridge handbook that is exclusively sold through Close To My Heart. This cartridge has something for everyone. I found an awesome tag/card on it that I used to make my card. I used cardstock from recollections and patterned paper from the DCWV high school stack. The cutie diploma was made with the Recess cart. The scallop circle was also cut from the Art Philosophy cart. The coordinating stamp is from Close to My Heart. I love that they have so many stamps that coordinate with the cartridge. I added some red tulle and tied a bow with ribbon from Walmart. I plan to add a small pocket inside to add a gift card.

Again, thanks for stopping by and if you would like to check out the Art Philosophy cart or any other items from CTMH you can here.

Hello Bloggy Friends!

It's been a long time since my last post. I've been on summer vacation for a week now and my kids will be out soon. Hopefully I will find more time to post things. I'm still crafting, but haven't found a happy medium when it comes to posting.

Anyhoo, I wanted participate in Emma's Throwback Thursday Challenge. You have to use a cart with a frame. I chose to use Art Philosophy Cart bt Close To My Heart. I love this cart and got it free in March when I signed up as a consultant for CTMH. I love their products! Especially their stamps. I haven't had the chance to do much "consulting" but hope to in the near future. You can visit my site @ csanford.ctmh.com.

Back to my challenge project. I made a decorative frame for my daughter's preschool classroom in honor of Teacher Appreciation Week. I used the Recess cart for the school supplies. I recently won this cart from Cricut Chick. I had never won a cartridge before, and I was sooo happy because this one was on my wish list. I used the Jubilee cart (I think) for the title. It was cut in vinyl. The red and white ribbon is from Stampin Up and all other ribbon is American Crafts. I plan to let my daughter take this to her teacher with a few other items tomorrow.
Happy Valentine's Day!
I want to share the rest of my kids projects for Valentine's Day. I used the bubblegum and gift card die from Emma @ mycreative time to create these super simple treats for my girls. I used some tulle from the Dollar Tree and these came together in no time. Create a critter was used for the heart. The stamped sentiment is also from Emma as well. (As you can see, I have fallen in love with her products.) I used cardstock from Stampin Up and Colorbox. The patterned paper on my lollipop holders is from Colorbox too. The sentiment on these are a dollar stamp from Joanns I purchased last year. I made a total of 50 treats in all. Thanks so much for stopping by :)TyTynNiyasmomhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13932360330679752785noreply@blogger.com10tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4644518921941070472.post-9638909620811037602012-02-10T06:08:00.000-06:002012-02-10T06:08:27.428-06:00First Post of 2012!

Hello Everyone,

I know I've been a bad blogger! No post for over a month! I really don't have much of a defense. I've been busy with life and although I've done some crafting, I just didn't feel like taking pics. Anyhoo, I'm back and have some Valentine projects to share. I have two daughters needing valentines, but my oldest found some in Walmart that she really wanted. I made my youngest some Minnie Mouse 3x3 cards. She LOVES Mickey and Minnie mouse and just knew she would love these. I used the Mickey Font cart for the Minnie head and bow. Elegant Edges cart was used for the mat behind Minnie's head. I used Emma @ mycreativetime be mine heart stamp and sentiment in the inside. I hope to upload some pics of my other projects tomorrow. Wish me luck. It took a long time to upload these pics.TyTynNiyasmomhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13932360330679752785noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4644518921941070472.post-42550101106773711422011-12-31T10:41:00.000-06:002012-01-01T10:44:16.082-06:00Happy New Year!

Hello Everyone,

Well, I wanted to end this year with...what else but a New Year's card. I have had a blast this year with this blog. I've met so many people that really love this craft and I'm honored to know each and everyone of you. My 1yr blogaversary in coming up in January, so be sure to check it out. I used the Celebrate with Flourish cart for this super simple card. The background patterned paper is DCWV. The other cardstock is from my stash. I used stardust stickles to give it a little bling.

We plan to have a quiet evening at home with the kiddos this year. With my husband's new work schedule we really need some family time. My New Year's plan is to go back to Weight Watchers and stay with it. The program really does work. After, my second child I lost over 50lbs doing the program and just haven't found the motivation to return after having my third. I also want to tell you to drop by Emma @ MyCreativeTime. She is having an AWESOME sale on her stamps and dies!!! I purchased some items today that I've been wanting for awhile. I promise you won't be disappointed.
Wishing everyone a safe and Happy New Year! I'll see ya in 2012!
Hello Everyone and Merry Christmas!
It's been awhile since I've posted anything, but December has been a busy month. I've done alot of crafting, but most of it was done during the night and I once finished, I just didn't take many pictures. I made the glitter ornaments last year but didn't have a blog then, so I decided to share them as well. After my last post of the charger plate, I decided to try more of them, so I used my gypsy and cut this "S" from Gyspy Font. The 2011 is Storybook. The wine shaped glasses were for my mom. She gave them to co-workers and the other glasses were made for my sister to give as gifts. I didn't have much time for paper crafting, so my Christmas cards are super simple this year. I used some patterned paper by American Crafts and Stampin Up cardstock. I also used a Die and stamp set from Emma @ My Creative Time for the sentiment. My gift tags are also super simple. I won this stamp set from Gloria @ Gloriascrafts awhile back and it fit the bill for quick and simple tags. The shape of the tags were made with the Storybook cart and the patterned paper is DCWV. I added some stickles to the "fur" part of Santa's coat to bling it up. My five-year old loves to get under the tree and see who each gift is addressed to :) She's keeping a count of which ones are hers. Again, I want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and thanks for stopping by:)TyTynNiyasmomhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13932360330679752785noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4644518921941070472.post-67506736403748456042011-12-05T00:00:00.002-06:002011-12-05T04:35:40.303-06:00Vinyl Project

It's been awhile since my last post, but I have been crafting. Thanksgiving was great. My family came to our house for Thanksgiving and it was hectic, but happy. My niece came home from Atlanta and I was soo happy to see her. After dinner we sat around talked and search the internet for some early deals. The only store I went to was Walmart. After getting there at 7:30 PM and leaving at 1 AM I was too exhausted from the craziness to go anywhere else. Anyway, I wanted to share my vinyl charger project. I got the charger plate from Walmart for 98 cents. I used Joys of the Season for the phrase and the Christmas cart that I got free with my gyspy for the star. I showed this to some co-workers and now I have to make them some as well. I got the vinyl from Hobby Lobby. Thanks so much for stopping by :)
Hello Everyone
I hope you all have had a great weekend. Mine has been super busy. I wanted to participate in Emma's Throwback Thursday this week. I haven't done any challenges in awhile and thought this one may get me back into it. The challenge this week is to use a kid-friendly cart. I chose the Playtime cart and designed this card in my gypsy. The train and the two layers under the train are also from this cart. I had to remind myself that this was for a boy and not add alot of bling, so I put just a little glossy accents on the top of the first train cart and on the mechanism that turns the wheels. Not to much right? I'm planning to give this card to my cousin that's expecting a baby boy next month. Thanks so much for stopping by:)

recipe:

Playtime cricut cart
craft cardstock- Joanns brand
patterned paper- K and Company (Monkey Around paper pad)
other cardstock- Martha Stewart
button- walmart
twine- ebay
Goodmorning Everyone!

The weekend went soo fast. I started on this banner last week and completed it the weekend. I used my favorite cart for banners, Birthday Bash. The leaves are from Doodlecharms. I used patterned papers from Martha Stewart (rosette) and DCWV. The letters were cut with cardstock from Coredinations and the rest is Colorbox. I punched holes in the leaves with my crop a dile and strung it all with some Chocolate Chip ribbon from Stampin Up. I've hung this on the mantle of my fireplace. I hope to start on some Christmas Cards sometime this week (fingers crossed) LOL. Have a great day and thanks for stopping by:)TyTynNiyasmomhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13932360330679752785noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4644518921941070472.post-85843280671621356322011-11-05T09:10:00.001-05:002011-11-05T09:10:00.984-05:00Thank You Card

Hello bloggy friends,

I hope your weekend has started off awesome. I have plenty of laundry and cleaning to do, but hope to get in some crafting as well :).I made several thank you cards to give to people that sent cards and food during my grandmother's passing. I forgot to take pictures of the others, but did manage to remember this one. I used one of my favorite DCWV paperstacks, Lemon Flower Stack. I made several cards so they had to be really simple ones. The cardstock is a mixture of Papertrey Ink and some scraps. The ribbon is from walmart and the sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps. Thanks for stopping by:)TyTynNiyasmomhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13932360330679752785noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4644518921941070472.post-52103889541982533462011-11-04T05:00:00.002-05:002011-11-04T05:00:15.586-05:00Community Friends Thank You Cards

Hello friends,
TGIF! I received a call from my mother requesting some thank you cards to send to a policeman, fireman, emt, and Macgruff the crime dog. My mother is a director at a preschool and had some community friends to stop by and pay the kids a visit. I said yes, of course, and knew exactly what cartridge I wanted to use. All of the cuts are from Everyday Paper Dolls. I love this cart because it is full of images. I used cardstock from Papertrey Ink and some scraps. The sentiments are from My Pink Stamper, and Scrappy Moms Stamps. Good morning friends,

I want to share this fall wreath I made. I saw this wreath a few weeks ago at Lauren's Creative, then again when Cristi @ Scrappin 5 Little Cupcakes also did one. I absolutely fell in love with it and made a special trip to Joanns for supplies. You can visit both of their blogs for tutorials. The only difference in mine is the berry picks. Both Lauren and Christie used 3 of the acorn picks in theirs, but my Joanns put most of their Fall decor items on 60% off, so I could only find one of the acorn picks. I think it looks ok with the berrys as well. I purchased my ribbon from Walmart, but plan to replace it because it just isn't as wide as I wanted. I hardly ever make home decor, but found it quite fun and somewhat addictive. Now I want to try more projects to decorate my home with. Thanks so much for stopping by:)

recipe:

green and brown yarn- Walmart
straw wreath- Joanns
various picks in berries, acorns- Joanns
felt- Joanns
Hello Everyone

Thanks soo much for your prayers and kind words during the loss of my grandmother. I enjoyed seeing family members that I hadn't seen in years. The last of the family members that came in from out of town left Tuesday. I have been visiting blogs and commenting, but didn't have the mojo to blog. I have been doing some crafting though and am excited to hopefully get back in a routine.

I want to share some treat bags I made for my daughter's preschool class. I finally purchased the Martha Stewart drippy goo punch and couldn't wait to use it on this project. The patterned paper is from Cloud 9. I used Mini Monograms cart for the circle and scallop circle. The sentiment is from Studio G. I purchased it from my local Walmart. Thanks so much for stopping by:)

It's been about 3 weeks since my last post. Work, and family life has gotten super busy and my crafting has been few and far between. I had planned to complete some projects this weekend, but my grandmother passed away on Thursday. It was her 99 birthday! She ate her lunch that day then God decided it was time for her to come home. We miss her dearly, but know she is with our heavenly father now. I feel that she received the ultimate birthday present. I have family that will be arriving today. They were already coming because we had planned a party for grammy, but didn't realize that the Lord had other plans for her. I hope to get back into some crafting next week. Until then, all I ask is for your prayers for me and my family. Thanks so much for stopping by:)TyTynNiyasmomhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13932360330679752785noreply@blogger.com11
