Birthday Cards!!


These are 2 birthday cards I made yesterday. The basketball card was made for my son. Today he turned 14 yrs old. Wow! where has the time gone? Seems like yesterday he was only 2. He is my oldest child and my only son. He's the greatest kid; always thinking of others. The ice cream card is for my bff's daughter. I hope she likes it. Thanks for stopping by :).

    @ Scrapbooking Beginner, I have the Sizzix Texture Boutique. I wanted a cuttlebug, but it wasn't in my budget. The Sizzix only embosses, it doesn't die cut which is fine by me because I use my cricut for die cutting. The Sizzix is only 25-30 dollars compared to the cuttlebug which starts at around 50 dollars and up depending where you buy it. The only downfall I've found with it is the cuttlebug now has bigger embossing folders(5x7) and those won't fit the Sizzix, but the regular folders will. Maybe one day I will buy the cuttlebug, but for now I use the Sizzix. You can find it online at Joanns, but I think HSN and ebay have it cheaper. I only paid 18 bucks for mine on ebay, but HSN sells it for about 30 dollars. Hope that helps you any. Thanks for your kind comments! :)
