Party Pics

Hello Everyone,

I wanted to share a few more pics of the decor I made for my daughter's party. I searched pintrest, etsy, google and youtube looking for some ideas. Taniya wanted a Mickey party, and I wanted her to have a Minnie party. So... I combined them.

The set up before the guests arrived

mason glasses with daisy cut lids
Thank you bags

The cake ( It was delicious!)

Invitations ( the yellow was replaced with white circles)

The t-shirts I made using t-shirt vinyl

I used the Mickey Font cart for just about everything! I made both of the girls a tu tu to go with their t-shirts, but only seemed to get great pics of them when they were photographed with a party guest. So since I don't have permission from any of their parents I didn't post any of them.

Thanks so much for stopping by and sorry for the picture heavy post :)

It's A Mickey Party!

Hello,

It's been over a month since my last post. I've been crafty, just forgot to take a pic or too lazy to upload and blog. I'm full of energy today because it's my baby girl's birthday! She turns 3 today. I wanted to share the banner I made for the party. We will be celebrating today and tomorrow. She is so excited. I used the Mickey Font cart for the ears and letters and the red circle is from Birthday Bash. I strung it all together with some white tulle. I'll be sure to take some pics of the party and share them as well.

Have a happy Friday~

Thinking of You

Hi,

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Sunday evening. I got some time to myself this afternoon and decided to make a card for FCCB . This week's challenge is" Don't bug me".  Make a project using some sort of bug. It took me a while to decide which bug to use, but I ended up using this butterfly from Straight From the Nest. I used a branch from Create a Critter to post him on. My patterned papers are from a stack from Three Birds. The cardstock is recollections and the sentiment is from My Craft Spot. I used some bling from the dollar bin at Micheals and my white gel pen to help bring out the body of the butterfly.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Wedding Card

Hi,
Thanks so much for stopping by today. My SIL renewed her vows last Saturday and  I was at the rehearsal on Friday evening and realized that I still hadn't made her a card. I got up early Saturday morning, (wedding day), and thought of this card I saw on youtube. Her subscriber name is KaleesStampin. The colors are actually the colors of the wedding and thought it would be perfect.
I used different materials on mine, but the concept is still the same.
I used the Art Philosophy Cart for the roses. LOVE this cart!  I used the swirls cuttlebug embossing folder. The script patterned paper is by K and Company as are the pearls that center the roses. I used the Martha Stewart branch punch for the leaves and the twine is by MS as well. The sentiment and tag are by Emma @ creativetimeforme. It's really hard to see, but I also lightly sprayed the roses and card with glimmer mist by Tattered Angels in marshmallow to give the card a little bling.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Graduation Card

Hello Everyone,

Two posts in one week!! I'm on a roll LOL. Thanks so much for stopping by today. I want to share a card I made for a co-worker's daughter that will be graduating from high school next week. I was totally inspired to make this after seeing the BEAUTIFUL tags that Emma @creativetimeforme.com created She released another set of stamps and dies this morning, so be sure to stop by her blog and check it out. The new release is available for preorders right now.

I was looking through the Art Philosophy cricut cartridge handbook that is exclusively sold through Close To My Heart. This cartridge has something for everyone. I found an awesome tag/card on it that I used to make my card. I used cardstock from recollections and patterned paper from the  DCWV high school stack. The cutie diploma was made with the Recess cart. The scallop circle was also cut from the Art Philosophy cart. The coordinating stamp is from Close to My Heart. I love that they have so many stamps that coordinate with the cartridge. I added some red tulle and tied a bow with ribbon from Walmart. I plan to add a small pocket inside to add a gift card.

Again, thanks for stopping by and if you would like to check out the Art Philosophy cart or any other items from CTMH you can here.

MCT Throwback Thursday Challenge

Hello Bloggy Friends!

It's been a long time since my last post. I've been on summer vacation for a week now and my kids will be out soon. Hopefully I will find more time to post things. I'm still crafting, but haven't found a happy medium when it comes to posting.

Anyhoo, I wanted participate in Emma's Throwback Thursday Challenge. You have to use a cart with a frame. I chose to use Art Philosophy Cart bt Close To My Heart. I love this cart and got it free in March when I signed up as a consultant for CTMH. I love their products! Especially their stamps. I haven't had the chance to do much "consulting" but hope to in the near future. You can visit my site @ csanford.ctmh.com.

Back to my challenge project. I made a decorative frame for my daughter's preschool classroom in honor of Teacher Appreciation Week. I used the Recess cart for the school supplies. I recently won this cart from Cricut Chick. I had never won a cartridge before, and I was sooo happy because this one was on my wish list. I used the Jubilee cart (I think) for the title. It was cut in vinyl. The red and white ribbon is from Stampin Up and all other ribbon is American Crafts. I plan to let my daughter take this to her teacher with a few other items tomorrow.

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day!
I want to share the rest of my kids projects for Valentine's Day. I used the bubblegum and gift card die from Emma @ mycreative time to create these super simple treats for my girls. I used some tulle from the Dollar Tree and these came together in no time. Create a critter was used for the heart. The stamped sentiment is also from Emma as well. (As you can see, I have fallen in love with her products.) I used cardstock from Stampin Up and Colorbox. The patterned paper on my lollipop holders is from Colorbox too. The sentiment on these are a dollar stamp from Joanns I purchased last year. I made a total of 50 treats in all. Thanks so much for stopping by :)

First Post of 2012!

Hello Everyone,

I know I've been a bad blogger! No post for over a month! I really don't have much of a defense. I've been busy with life and although I've done some crafting, I just didn't feel like taking pics. Anyhoo, I'm back and have some Valentine projects to share. I have two daughters needing valentines, but my oldest found some in Walmart that she really wanted. I made my youngest some Minnie Mouse 3x3 cards. She LOVES Mickey and Minnie mouse and just knew she would love these. I used the Mickey Font cart for the Minnie head and bow. Elegant Edges cart was used for the mat behind Minnie's head.  I used Emma @ mycreativetime be mine heart stamp and sentiment in the inside.  I hope to upload some pics of my other projects tomorrow. Wish me luck. It took a long time to upload these pics.
