Happy New Year!

Hello Everyone,

Well, I wanted to end this year with...what else but a New Year's card. I have had a blast this year with this blog. I've met so many people that really love this craft and I'm honored to know each and everyone of you. My 1yr blogaversary in coming up in January, so be sure to check it out. I used the Celebrate with Flourish cart for this super simple card. The background patterned paper is DCWV. The other cardstock is from my stash. I used stardust stickles to give it a little bling.

We plan to have a quiet evening at home with the kiddos this year. With my husband's new work schedule we really need some family time. My New Year's plan is to go back to Weight Watchers and stay with it. The program really does work. After, my second child I lost over 50lbs doing the program and just haven't found the motivation to return after having my third.  I also want to tell you to drop by Emma @ MyCreativeTime. She is having an AWESOME sale on her stamps and dies!!! I purchased some items today that I've been wanting for awhile. I promise you won't be disappointed.
Wishing everyone a safe and Happy New Year!  I'll see ya in 2012!

Vinyl projects, Cards, and Tags

Hello Everyone and Merry Christmas! It's been awhile since I've posted anything, but December has been a busy month. I've done alot of crafting, but most of it was done during the night and I once finished, I just didn't take many pictures. I made the glitter ornaments last year but didn't have a blog then, so I decided to share them as well. After my last post of the charger plate, I decided to try more of them, so I used my gypsy and cut this "S" from Gyspy Font. The 2011 is Storybook. The wine shaped glasses were for my mom. She gave them to co-workers and the other glasses were made for my sister to give as gifts. I didn't have much time for paper crafting, so my Christmas cards are super simple this year. I used some patterned paper by American Crafts and Stampin Up cardstock. I also used a Die and stamp set from Emma @ My Creative Time for the sentiment. My gift tags are also super simple. I won this stamp set from Gloria @ Gloriascrafts awhile back and it fit the bill for quick and simple tags. The shape of the tags were made with the Storybook cart and the patterned paper is DCWV. I added some stickles to the "fur" part of Santa's coat to bling it up. My five-year old loves to get under the tree and see who each gift is addressed to :) She's keeping a count of which ones are hers. Again, I want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and thanks for stopping by:)

Vinyl Project

It's been awhile since my last post, but I have been crafting. Thanksgiving was great. My family came to our house for Thanksgiving and it was hectic, but happy. My niece came home from Atlanta and I was soo happy to see her. After dinner we sat around talked and search the internet for some early deals. The only store I went to was Walmart. After getting there at 7:30 PM and leaving at 1 AM I was too exhausted from the craziness to go anywhere else. Anyway, I wanted to share my vinyl charger project. I got the charger plate from Walmart for 98 cents. I used Joys of the Season for the phrase and the Christmas cart that I got free with my gyspy for the star. I showed this to some co-workers and now I have to make them some as well. I got the vinyl from Hobby Lobby. Thanks so much for stopping by :)
