Fourth of July

Hi
I hope everyone is having a great week so far. I wanted to share a card I made for two challenges. Celebrate the Occasion and Scrappy Moms. For CTO the theme is to make a 4th of July card using the colors red, white, and blue. The Scrappy Mom's Terrific Tuesday challenge was to use the cart Stand and Salute, but since I don't have that cart I found several patriotic cuts on the Graphically Speaking cart. Please don't forget to leave comment on my 100 follower post to be eligible to win some prizes. Have a great rest of the week and thanks for stopping by :)

I've decided to also enter this card in the FCCB Challenge and More Than Favors Wacky Wednesday. You have to use the colors red, white, and blue.

Camp card for my niece

Hello!
I hope everyone is having an awesome weekend. My niece is going to band camp tomorrow. I'm going with my sister to take her. I started cleaning and organizing in my craft area and found this paper that I had forgot about. I got it in a pack at my local goodwill. I thought it would make a cute music card. I used my new Twinkle Toes cart that I got at Walmart last night on clearance! I wanted this cart on black Friday, but my walmart never brought them out. They currently have more carts on clearance, but I'm patiently wanting on the prices to go lower (Gotta love a bargain). The sentiment is My Pink Stamper. Anyway, I plan to make her a little goody bag with some items she can snack on while away at camp as well. Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to leave a comment on my 100 follower post to win some blog candy. I am also linking this project to

Hello!

I hope everyone is having a terrific Saturday! I can't believe that I've participated in so many challenges in one week. Today's card is for the Terrific Tuesday Challenge at Scrappy Moms Stamps. I only have one set of their stamps, but it is definitely one of the ones I reach for first when looking for a sentiment. The challenge was only to use the Sweet Treats cart. Father's Day Card!

Hello and happy Thursday!

I made a Father's Day card today using EDPD cart. My husband and my father both love to fish, so I wanted to incorporate something they loved in the card. I won this awesome patterned paper from Diana @ DL.ART. She is very talented and I was so excited to get my goodies. Anyway, I thought this paper would make a nice masculine card. I plan to enter this card in two challenges: Thankful Thursday Challenge at Crazy About Cricut and PeachyKeen Challenge #54
Wish me luck :)

Celebrate The Occasion Challenge Challenge #18

Hello(Again) :)

I hope everyone is having a fantastic Day. This is my second post for today. I made these birthday invites using the Just A Note cartridge for my daughter's upcoming birthday. She will be the big "2" in July. I plan to make a banner and some decor items as well. I saw on the CTO blog that the occasion is birthdays, so I am linking this project. You have to do a birthday project and include a birthday hat. I embossed the layer in the inside. I still have to work out all the party details, but I hope to have these delivered by the end of the month. Click HERE to check out the CTO blog and play along:)

My Creative Time Throwback Thursday Challenge!

Hi

I wanted to share a card a made for Emma's Throwback Thursday Challenge at creativetimeforme.com. The challenge is to use a cricut lite cart and some bling. I chose a cart that I have never cut from, cupcake wrappers. I received this cart as a gift and initially thought I could only make cupcake wrappers, but there is a topper feature on this cart and I used it to make this card. I put some stickles on the center of the flower and I'm also counting this yummy glitter patterned paper as my bling. I got this paper and the coordinating cardstock from HSN. It is DCWV. The solid paper has adhesive on the back. It cut very well in my cricut and made this card even quicker to put together. Thanks for stopping by :)

Baby Girl Card

Hello

I wanted to share this baby girl card I made for one of the lady's at my daughter's preschool. I used Every Day Paper Dolls for the stroller and Mini Monograms for the scallop. This is my first cut with EDPD. I got it with reward points at cricut.com. Anyway, I decided to make a tag to match to attach to my gift and used Plantin Schoolbook. I used my white gel pen to do some doodling and stickles to bling it up some. My favorite are the little white pearls on the wheels that I found in a K and Company embellishment pack. The sentiment on the tag is by My Pink Stamper, but I'm not sure about the one on the card. I found it in my stash, but I must have forgot to label the cd case! Thanks so much for stopping by :)

I doodled some with my white gel pen and added stardust stickles to the center. Thanks for stopping by :)

Get Well Card

Hello and Happy Saturday!

I hope everyone is having a good one. It has been a week of record-breaking temps here in Mississippi and it's suppose to be even hotter today! Yesterday it was 98 with a heat index of 102! Summer has arrived here, but we could do without that kind of heat. Anyway I made this super simple card yesterday to give to my husband's aunt. She fell and broke her leg. She is currently in the hospital doing rehab. We plan to visit her tomorrow and I wanted to make her a card to let her know we were thinking of her. The card measures 4.25x4.25. All papers and ribbon used were Stampin Up. I cut this flower from the Forever Young cart. It had a flower that I thought would look cute on this card. used my white gel pen for the doodling. The sentiment is a Scrappy Moms stamp. Thanks so much for stopping by :)

My Creative Time Throwback Thursday Challenge!

Hello Everyone!

I decided to enter My Creative Time's Throwback Thursday Challenge. You had to use an older cart and incorporate the colors yellow and green. I chose to make a shape card from the Live Simply cricut lite cart. I used DCWV Lemon Flower Stack for my base(love this stack)! I used some scraps for the layers on the butterfly. I used my xyron to put adhesive on the layers then dipped them in Martha Stewart glitter. Lastly, I stamped a cute face on it using Peachy Keen Stamps (love em)and used my white gel pen to color in the eyes. Thanks for stopping by :)

Farewell and Thank you cards

Hello Everyone!

I got a text on Sunday night at approx. ten PM from my oldest niece. She lives four hours from me in the town that she attended college at. After finishing school she scored a job at that college and has been working there for about 3 years. She has decided that she was ready to leave it and pursue other adventures. She went to Atlanta for an interview the day those horrible tornadoes hit Alabama. She literally was in Alabama minutes after one storm hit! Now, I had no idea she was traveling that way during that time or I would have freaked out. She made it to Atlanta safely and heard about a week later that she got the job. I'm so happy for her. I feel like a proud momma bird setting her free to venture the world. Anyway, she asked me to make her some farewell and thank you cards to give to friends and co-workers. I used Storybook for the thank you cards and Create a Critter for the farewell cards. I didn't have a stamp for what I wanted to say on the owl card, so I computer generated one. I will be mailing them today. Thanks for visiting :)

I'm not including a recipe with this post because I used variety of products, but leave me a comment if you have a question about something. I read everyone of them.
