Simple Baby Card with Sugar and Spice

Hello!

I was able to squeeze in a quick and simple baby card I made for a co-worker today. I used the cricut lite cart Sugar and Spice cart. I scored this cart at my local Walmart on clearance. The base cardstock is Georgia Pacific. All the color cardstock is by Martha Stewart. The sentiment is MPS. The ribbon is from Walmart. The edge punch is by Fiskars. I recently received some awesome blog awards that I plan to post and thank the great crafters that sent them to me soon. I haven't forgotten about them. Things haven't calmed down at my house yet. My 4yr. old started soccer yesterday and my oldest is in ROTC. Hopefully we will get in more a routine soon so that I can craft and blog more. Thanks for stopping by:)

Getting Scrappy Challenge #15

Hello!
I hope everyone is having a fantastic Saturday. The weather is great here and for a change it is less humid. My thoughts and prayers go out to the millions of people that are being affected by the hurricane this weekend. My bff lives in Virginia and is dealing with it too. She is in the military and is riding out the storm with her family in their home. I have recently spoken to her and everything is o.k. I want to share my project for Amanda's Getting Scrappy Challenge. I am proud to tell you that I won her challenge earlier this week and I am too honored to be chosen. This week's challenge is Make A Splash ( a water theme layout). I used the cricut lite cart Splish Splash to cut the title, tub, and bubbles. The patterned paper is Martha Stewart, the colored cardstock is Stampin Up. The ribbon is from my stash. I covered the bubbles with waterfall stickles. Thanks for stopping by:)

Monogram card

Hello!

I hope everyone is having a great weekend! I wanted to share this card I made using the Blackletter cart. I had never used it before and I got it as a free cart on my gypsy. All the cuts were done with this cart. I used white cardstock from walmart for my base then layered it with some craft cardstock from Joanns. All the patterned papers are K and Company. I got these beautiful papers form Diana @ DL. Art. I love to visit her blog and see what awesome crafts she has created. If you hadn't had a chance to go by her blog, please do so. I PROMISE you won't be dissappointed. The letter S was cut using more craft cardstock then layer with cardstock from Papertrey Ink. I used Tim Holtz distress ink on the card and layers, then added some bling and twine from my stash. Thanks so much for stopping by:)

Happy Birthday Easel Card

Hello Everyone!

I was off today because my youngest is sick. I kept her home today and got in some crafting during her naptime. I made an easel card. I've only made a couple of these, and I enjoy making a different type of card sometimes. I decided to use some of the goodies I've won on some blogs. The cupcake embossing is from a set of cuttlebug folders I won from Sherrie K. She is such an awesome crafter. If you hadn't visited her blog, you should check it out. She is currently celebrating her 6mo. Blogoversay and has some super sweet blog candy! I chose a cardstock with a white core and used an emery board to distress the cardstock so make the cupcakes stand out more. The wonderful sentiment is from inspiredstamps.blogspot.com. I won these from Sylvia at Bella Scrapbook Designs. She is wonderfully talented as well. Please go by and pay her a visit too. I plan to use this card for challenges at
FCCB- a project using a cupcake or other baked good.
CTO -a birthday card, must be an easel card

Getting Scrappy Challenge #14

Hello Everyone!

It's been a week today since I've posted anything. I've been quite busy at work, but hopefully things will come down soon. I've logged in occasionally to blog hop and leave comments, but I am still having crafting withdrawl :) I got out of a meeting early today, so I raced home to do some crafting. I did this LO for Getting Scrappy Challenge #14 at Amanda's Crafts and More. You have to do a LO using a cricut or svg. The theme is The Taste of Summer using your favorite summer food. We love watermelon! So, I used the cute watermelon on Doodlecharms. This was the first cartridge I purchased and still love it. Thanks so much for stopping by:)

Birthday Girl Layout

Today is officially my last day of summer break. I return to work on Monday. I cleaned my house and sat down to do this LO of my daughter the morning of her birthday. I used a Momenta paperstack called Birthday Wishes that I purchased at Tuesday Morning for 3 dollars! It is super cute and made this LO super fast. I used my Lacy Labels cart and cut the the inner layer fit to page at 10 and 3/4. I used A Child's Year for the balloons and Mickey Font for my title. The cute cupcakes on the right are a awesome stamp set I won on Bella Scrapbook Designs blog. The company is called Inspired Stamps. I colored them with my Martha Stewart glitter pens and cut them out. I recently purchased the carts I used at a great price from someone and couldn't wait to use them. I hope to make at least one more post before returning to work. I will have a busy first week and doubt if I get to do any crafting :( Thanks so much for all the sweet comments that you leave. I love reading them. Thanks for stopping by:)
