Back To School Blog Hop!

Hello and welcome to the "Back To School" blog hop hosted by Audrey @scrappyemt. If you just happen to visit my blog and want to join the hop then click HERE to start at the beginning at Audrey's blog.

This is my first time participating in a hop, so if I do anything backwards, bear with me :). This is a small hop, but you will surely find some inspiration. I've stated in previous post that school starts next week here for my children. It's been a quick summer! I started the tradition of taking first day pictures when my son started school. I chose to do a LO that I will use this year.

I used Doodlecharms for the bus
Everyday Paper Dolls for the road
Lockertalk for all the rest of the cuts
The base cardstock is Bazzil. Patterned papers are unknown. I've had them for awhile. I cut some transparency on my cricut for the lens on the camera and the flash.
The notebook paper is from DCWV High School stack
The sentiment is from Emma @ my creative time
My title letters are thickers (root beer)

And.... What's a hop without some candy!

This stamp set from Inkadinkado!

Father's Day Card!

Hello and happy Thursday!

I made a Father's Day card today using EDPD cart. My husband and my father both love to fish, so I wanted to incorporate something they loved in the card. I won this awesome patterned paper from Diana @ DL.ART. She is very talented and I was so excited to get my goodies. Anyway, I thought this paper would make a nice masculine card. I plan to enter this card in two challenges: Thankful Thursday Challenge at Crazy About Cricut and PeachyKeen Challenge #54
Wish me luck :)

Baby Girl Card

Hello

I wanted to share this baby girl card I made for one of the lady's at my daughter's preschool. I used Every Day Paper Dolls for the stroller and Mini Monograms for the scallop. This is my first cut with EDPD. I got it with reward points at cricut.com. Anyway, I decided to make a tag to match to attach to my gift and used Plantin Schoolbook. I used my white gel pen to do some doodling and stickles to bling it up some. My favorite are the little white pearls on the wheels that I found in a K and Company embellishment pack. The sentiment on the tag is by My Pink Stamper, but I'm not sure about the one on the card. I found it in my stash, but I must have forgot to label the cd case! Thanks so much for stopping by :)
